I launched SpareFobz in April 2025 after a change in my career gave me the opportunity to reflect on what I truly enjoy doing. After spending a few years programming keys on the side, I realized how much I enjoyed helping people save money on replacement keys — and decided to turn that passion into a business.

With a background in IT, I have a solid understanding of the technical side of automotive key systems. As vehicle technology continues to evolve, I stay up to date so I can offer the most reliable, modern solutions to my customers.

I’ve called Calgary home since 1998 and have lived in the NE community of Temple since 2007. I share my life with my wonderful wife, our three daughters, a son-in-law, a grandson, and our sweet cat, Toga.

At SpareFobz, my goal is simple: provide fast, affordable, and professional automotive key services — and back that with great customer care. I’m fully AMVIC licensed, City of Calgary licensed, and insured. Many key programmers on Facebook Marketplace may not be — so always check credentials and reviews before trusting your vehicle to someone.
